As we approach the end of the year, social metrics platform StreamsCharts has released its rankings of the most-watched streamers of 2024. And there’s one clear winner.
Kai Cenat, a 23-year-old content creator from New York, accrued 184.5 million hours of watch time. Second place was Jynxzi, who racked up less than half of Cenat’s watch time with 77.08 million hours in total. Third place was xQc with 75.4 million.
In a testament to Cenat’s popularity, Jynxzi and xQxc’s watch times combined remain dwarfed by the high-profile streamer’s grand total.
What did Kai Cenat’s 2024 look like?
It’s been a big year for Cenat. He’s done everything from an 11-hour stream of Elden Ring to his sleepover stream with Kevin Hart. He even became part of the NBA creator program.
Still, the biggest moment of the year for Cenat was undoubtedly Mafiathon II. This event involved Cenat continuously streaming for 30 days. Numerous high-profile guests, including Bill Nye, Snoop Dogg, and Serena Williams, stopped by on the stream.
This event helped Cenat break the record for attracting the most Twitch subscribers in just one stream. According to the BBC, he accrued a total of 727,694, beating previous record-holder Ironmouse by a considerable margin.
