After a lot of lobbying, Reps. Yvette Clarke (D-NY) and Beth Van Duyne (R-TX) have launched a Creator Caucus in the House of Representatives. The committee, which is made up of a number of creators like MatPat, aims to serve two primary purposes: educating Reps about the internet, and helping creators navigate the ever-changing creator economy.

Khaby Lame ‘Voluntarily Deported’ From US

Amid protests over ICE raids in LA, TikTok star Khaby Lame was “voluntarily deported” from the US in early June. Rumors first started spiraling on June 6, with social media users claiming that Lame was on the list of ICE’s online locator of detained persons. Authorities later confirmed that the TikToker had been voluntarily deported — but that still leaves a lot of questions unanswered.
