You can find the TikTok Creator Marketplace by following this path in the menus: Profile > Settings > Creator tools > Creator Marketplace > Dashboard. Here, you can set up your account, edit your profile, and connect with brands.
How Does The Creator Marketplace Work?
Once you’ve joined the Creator Marketplace, the first thing you should do is fully fill out your profile. This is the information companies will use to decide if they will work with you or not, so make yourself shine. You’ll also be asked to set a starting rate for sponsored videos. Note: you will not be held to this number forever. You can always negotiate better rates for new campaigns in the future.
Creators with a management team or agent may want to include their information as their business contact. This information is not connected to your public profile and is only available to brands via the Creator Marketplace.
When a brand invites you to work with them, you’ll receive a notification through the TikTok app. You can also find your Creative Marketplace notifications under the System Notifications options in your TikTok Inbox.
Once you’ve received an invite from a brand, you’ll get a message outlining the details of your deal. Select the “I’m Interested” option in the message if you’re interested, or press “Not Interested” if you want to pass. TikTok will then give you the option to either “Accept” the deal or “Negotiate” the details. Creators can use the Negotiate option to ask for more money, but as always with business, remember the brand can always say no.

What Goes Into a Creator Marketplace Campaign?
A Campaign invite from a brand on the Creator Marketplace tells you everything the company expects from you. You will get an offer for how much the campaign pays, the campaign details, and a list of deliverables you’ll be expected to upload. For example, you may be asked to post one video on your account by a specific date. To get paid, you will need to meet the agreed-upon deliverables of your campaign.
Please note that some campaigns are not negotiable. If a campaign is negotiable, you have seven days to ask for a new price. The brand will then have seven days to respond to your proposal. If they do not respond within seven days, the campaign offer is automatically canceled on both ends.
Once your deal is accepted, the brand may ask you to submit a script for the video you plan on uploading. Requirements like this are included in the deliverables, so read that section carefully when accepting.

What Is The Process Of Submitting A Creator Marketplace Campaign Video?
After finishing your campaign video, upload the content to the TikTok Creator Marketplace. Select the “Upload Video” option on your Order Details page. If the brand wants your video by a specific date, upload it a few days before the deadline. This will give the brand time to review the video and give you any notes about the final product.
If you’ve used any original sounds, you must agree to TikTok’s Music Usage Confirmation agreement before uploading. Once uploaded, you’ll need to click the “Post” button. After which, your video will be available for your brand partner to review and will also show up in your personal profile feed. However, the video will not be public until it passes a final review by both TikTok and the brand you’re working with.
Your video will be reviewed within 24 hours by TikTok, and then move on to the final brand review. TikTok reviews all Creator Marketplace videos to ensure they comply with all of its Community Guidelines and Branded Content Policy.
What Happens When The Creator Marketplace Rejects A Video?
If you are notified that your video has been rejected, check TikTok or the brand’s feedback. You can find this information in the Creator Marketplace menus by following the Opportunities > Action Required Card > Video Feedback tabs.
Here, you’ll discover what happened and if the video was rejected by the platform or the brand. Videos can be rejected for being less than five seconds or over a minute long, using inappropriate language, or violating TikTok’s guidelines.
Brands can reject your video for not following the guidelines in the original proposal. They might also have simple notes about your video’s hashtags or caption details. In any case, select the “Revise Video” button to make any needed changes.
If your video fails to pass review more than ten times, the campaign will be automatically canceled. That means doing things correctly in the first few attempts is important. Even if your campaign doesn’t get canceled, if you are difficult to work with, a brand may want to avoid partnering with you in the future.
