Creators can now get a bespoke ‘Creator Pass’ for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
The festival, which runs from June 17 to June 21 in Cannes, France, celebrates the very best of advertising. And for creators, it’s the ideal place to network, expand their horizons, and even snag a brand deal or two.
You can’t have a marketing festival without your biggest money-makers. Which is why Cannes Lions has teamed up with talent agency Viral Nation to introduce something called the Creator Pass.
As the name implies, this Pass will not only allow creators to access the entire festival slate but also give them access to a curated program of events specifically tailored to them. This will include a full creator-focused day and an exclusive brand and creator network event.
Applications for the Creator Pass will open on April 29. It’s also worth noting that in previous years, the event used to conflict with VidCon. But in what is perhaps a testament to the festival’s growing creator presence, these events no longer clash.
A post on the official Cannes Lions website describes creators as a “driving force of creativity.” It says creators are a “big part of how the industry is progressing.”
“As this sector continues to grow, we’ve put together a creator-focused learning experience within the Festival that will showcase the power of creator-led marketing to the biggest brands in the world and help accelerate your own skills, brand and network,” the post reads.
