It looks like Amazon Prime Day might be having some competition next month as TikTok announces that TikTok Shop will be hosting a ‘Deals For You Days’ sales event beginning July 9.
What are Deals For You Days?
A number of leading brands will be offering savings “exclusive” to TikTok Shop. Participating brands include L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline New York, NYX Professional Makeup, Our Place, Too Faced, and Zwilling USA.
Both creators and merchants will have the opportunity to participate in content challenges and live shopping events, “where they can interact directly with their followers and share their favorite products and best-sellers.”
Brands confirmed to be hosting live shopping events include Benefit Cosmetic and COOLA, while creators like Stormi Steele, simplymandys and Tati Westbrook (yes, that one) will also be going live to showcase a range of lifestyle and beauty products. As these live shopping events stream, viewers will receive savings on products in real-time.
“With everything from trending fashion and beauty products, backyard entertainment essentials and decor, summer reading bestsellers, and more, TikTok Shop’s Deals For You Days has everything you need to get into the swing of summer,” TikTok said in a website post.
