During the 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai, the organizers of the event unveiled Creators HQ, a hub for content creators to network, grow, and develop their craft in the heart of Dubai.

As part of the country’s bid to become the creator capital of the world, Creators HQ is set to provide influencers with applications for UAE Golden Visas; a special kind of visa that offers a 5-10 year stay without the need for an application sponsor, Forbes reports. The outlet added that the company will also support creators with other aspects of content creation like settling into their new home.

How Will Creator HQ Help Creators?

Creators HQ, which Forbes describes as having a “comprehensive approach to creator support,” is set to host more than 300 events and workshops every year. These events will reportedly be held by industry experts, and are set to cover topics like sponsorship, monetization, audience engagement, storytelling, video production, and branding, among others.

For juniors and up-and-comers, there will also be creative camps for young people, mentorship programs, and funding support for early-career creators.

Creators HQ also announced that it had formed a partnership with Meta in order to launch the ‘Creators for Purpose’ program. This scheme, which focuses on regional creators, asks them to focus on posting content that “promotes positivity” across platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

According to Forbes, Creators HQ has the ambitious goal of welcoming 10,000 content creators to settle and make content in Dubai. And a financial backing of $40.8 million, let’s just hope it pays off.
