TikTok’s Creator Marketplace has been essential to the monetization process, but now, in an email to creators, the platform has announced that it will be “sunsetting” the feature beginning tomorrow. However, there’s no need to be worried. On April 1, TikTok will be launching TikTok One: a more comprehensive way of managing your finances on the app.

One key feature of the Creator Marketplace was the way it helped brands and creators connect. This feature will continue to be available on TikTok One along with numerous others, TechCrunch reports. TikTok One will also assist creators through features like trends research.

This means that creators will be able to track trending songs, creators, and hashtags, among other things. In addition to this, TechCrunch reports that the new monetization hub will offer tips and advice on things like how to use TikTok’s creative tools.

What Is TikTok’s Symphony Creative Studio?

Reportedly, AI is also another major part of TikTok One. TikTok’s existing Video Generator tool, as of today, has been shut down and replaced with the AI-powered Symphony Creative Studio. One feature of this includes the Symphony Assistant: an AI-powered helper who assists with things like brainstorming.

Another is the ability to make AI-powered, TikTok-style videos with digital avatars and remixed footage. This AI can also be used to enhance videos with features like captions, voices, and music, among other things. There’s also an AI-powered Script Generator which, you guessed it, helps you generate scripts.

Most notably, TechCrunch reports that TikTok One also features an AI-powered ads manager, which allows creators to generate and optimize ads through user input.

To upgrade your account to TikTok One, all you need to do is select the in-product notification in your Creator Marketplace account. Then you’ll be free to set up your TikTok One account. The final step is to authorize the data transfer between Creator Marketplace and TikTok One.

While this transition has been in the works since May, it’ll be interesting to see whether all these changes help or hinder TikTokers.
