According to TikTok, 7.5 million US businesses are using the app. For many small business owners, the app is essential for their success. So, in honor of Small Business Month, TikTok has reaffirmed its faith in these business owners by giving away $1 million worth of advertising credits.
As explained in a blog post, 500 small businesses will get $2,000 each in ad credits for TikTok. But that’s not all. Moreover, as part of the app’s Small Biz Fest, TikTok has launched a whole litany of initiatives for creators.
From 15 May, for instance, TikTok will launch a weekly webinar series providing advice on things like launching effective campaigns and fully utilizing the app’s business tools. The platform also launched its ‘100 Ways to Grow on TikTok‘ podcast series. This podcast features brands and successful small business owners talking about how they built their profiles. Finally, this month, TikTok is going on the road for the Small Biz Fest Roadshow. These pop-up events, which are especially designed for small business owners, will take place in Austin, LA, and New York.
“At TikTok, we believe small businesses fuel more than the economy – they shape our culture and community on the platform and beyond,” TikTok said in a blog post.
“That’s why we’re proud to support their journeys and successes not just in May, but year round. From new features and educational programming, to live activations across the country, TikTok is here to help businesses not only be seen, but truly grow.”
