Twitch and streaming management platform StreamElements have joined forces. The goal? To make Twitch’s subscription process more comprehensive, while providing additional opportunities for creators to make money.

In an announcement post, Twitch explained that it has partnered with StreamElements to show sponsorship offers “right from your dashboard.”

Once you access the sponsorship opportunity on your dashboard, you’ll be redirected to StreamElements. You will then see how much money you can receive from this sponsorship and what the brand expects. This payout, in turn, will be done via Stream Elements.

While Partners can access this now, Affiliates will have to wait until March 11. Dexerto also reports that, eventually, this feature will be available to all Twitch users.

The outlet also claims that sponsors will offer creators a “Guaranteed Base Pay” along with “Performance Incentives,” which, as the name implies, will be based on viewer engagement.

What About Creator Profiles?

This collaboration isn’t the only major change happening to Twitch. The platform is also rolling out”Creator Profiles.”

The profile, which creators must complete themselves, includes audience demographic data, featured clips, a list of the creator’s current sponsorships, and its top streaming categories. Twitch also claims that soon, this profile will be available as a downloadable infographic.

“With this brand new professional showcase of your channel, you’re more likely to attract opportunities that genuinely align with your content and personality,” Twitch adds in a blog post.

Given that these features will be available for all Twitch users in the long run, more streamers than ever will be able to kick-start their careers in the creator economy. It remains to be seen if these new features will attract streamers from other platforms.
