It’s now easier than ever for creators to connect with viewers, as YouTube announces that it’s launching channel QR codes.

In an X post, YouTube revealed two key things. Firstly, that this feature is now available for creators “around the world,” and secondly, that the QR code is scannable both on and offline.

How to find YouTube QR codes

Furthermore, in a website post, YouTube also shared how to find this QR code. Firstly, navigate to the “You” tab, which is situated on the bottom menu. Then, it’s just a matter of tapping the “Share channel” button followed by the “QR code” button. There’s also the option of saving the QR code to your phone.

Meanwhile, for those wanting to share their QR code, all creators have to do is navigate to the channel page, tap the three-dot menu, hit the share button, and then press “QR Code.”

What other platforms have QR codes?

In terms of what other platforms have in-built QR codes, it’s a mixed bag. Instagram and Snap both have unique QR codes for each profile on the platforms, whereas Twitch, Facebook, and TikTok do not. However, it is possible to generate QR codes for these profiles by using third-party QR code makers.
