Linktree is making itself even more creator-friendly. As of April 23, the platform has rolled out a slew of updates that will give creators more ways to earn an income.
One new way for creators to earn money is through courses. Linktree has teamed up with creator commerce platform Kajabi. Creators can tap into their specific niches by creating and selling courses directly through Linktree. Examples cited by Linktree include a photography course by celebrity photographer Carianne Older and Macy Eleni‘s tips on thrifting.
Another new feature is the ability to sell digital products like eBooks, guides, and other freebies.
Linktree is also launching its own TikTok Shop-style storefront where creators can earn commission on products they feature. According to Linktree, the platform is working with over 150 brands, including Amazon, Anthropologie, Lululemon, Revolve, Target, UGG, and Vuori.
Brands will also be able to pay creators to have an advertising link on their Linktree. And finally, there’s the rewards program. Linktree describes this as a “tiered incentive program” that rewards creators with certain perks like bonus commissions and direct outreach from brands.
“For too long creators have had to piece together tools to monetize their content — and brands have had to gamble on where to spend,” Linktree CEO and Co-founder Alex Zaccaria said in an emailed statement. “We fixed that. Our platform brings both sides together with a system that actually works: creators earn, brands convert, and everyone grows.”
