- X has introduced video capabilities to its live audio feature, Spaces, allowing hosts to use their device’s camera to add a visual element to sessions. This update is initially available on iOS, with some users experiencing lag.
- TikTok is in the process of removing all content associated with songwriters signed to Universal Music Publishing Group due to requirements from Universal Music Group (UMG), affecting artists who are not signed to UMG.
- YouTube Create, a free app designed to simplify video editing for Shorts and longer videos, is now available in beta on Android in 13 countries. It allows creators to record directly from their phone, choose from thousands of royalty-free songs, add effects and filters, clean up audio, and utilize voice over and auto captions.
