- Hank Green announced in a video he has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, prompting fans and fellow creators to offer their support.
- TikTok has become an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival, bringing exclusive backstage content, red-carpet scenes, and more to its one billion users.
- All the while, after Montana issued a law banning TikTok downloads last week, TikTok filed a lawsuit aiming to stop the ban, saying that it violates the First Amendment.
- Google announced it will be deleting YouTube accounts that have not been active in two years, but those accountsā videos will not be deleted. This is after Elon Musk recently announced that unused Twitter accounts will also be purged.
- OfflineTV revealed that one of its founders, Pokimane, is graduating from the company after six years.
- The Senateās hearing on AI regulation was friendly, leading some tech experts to worry it will lead to lax rules that can cause public harm.
- Meanwhile, Adobe announced it is adding AI-image generator Firefly to Photoshop sometime later this year.
