- In the midst of Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter, the company is experiencing a wave of executive firings and resignations. Rumor has it he’s ushering in a “high-risk” paywalled video feature in the coming weeks. (via TechCrunch and the Washington Post)
- As a part of its “Creator Week,” Meta announced updates to NFT-selling tools, Instagram subscriptions, and “Gifts,” and Facebook “Stars” and professional mode.
- Meta also announced a Latinx Hispanic creator program, titled Dale TĂş, which will provide 120 selected creators funding, business support, and community activities. Meta also announced a business support program for selected up-and-coming creators called Creators of Tomorrow.
- Discord released an emoji study of over 16,000 users.
