Why a Wannabe Actress Is Sending Us Threats

CREATOR NEWSLETTER

Hey everyone. We’ve covered some wild stories on the internet, but this latest story has to be our wildest yet. It’s a story about an aspiring actress, Lillee Jean, whose desire for fame has led her to go to extreme lengths to protect her reputation — using spurious legal threats and thinly veiled intimidation to silence those who speak in opposition to her.

The story became more chaotic as time went on. Lillee’s manager (and mother), Laura, sent us escalating abusive threats. She baselessly threw around words like slander, defamation, and copyright infringement. She dug up the real name of our boss. She unearthed the family history of the reporter, Steven, who was tirelessly looking into the story.

This is a long one, but I promise you, it’s worth every twist and turn. As our Publisher James put it, you just “can’t make this shit up.”
