LTK, formerly LikeToKnow, has become an integral marketing tool for fashion creators. The platform involves creators posting a video, image, or collage of the outfit they’re wearing.

But what makes LTK stand out compared to other platforms like Instagram and Pinterest is that creators can attach links to the exact items they’re wearing so consumers can buy them: earning a healthy commission in the process.

Another key difference between LTK and other social media apps is that creators can make a landing page including all the links they want to share. This allows users to find all the items they want in one place.

Now, LTK is stepping up its game, as TechCrunch reports that the platform has now been integrated into TikTok. More specifically, if a TikTok creator is promoting items via LTK, the link with all the items will appear at the top of a TikTok creator’s comments section. It’s a simple trick, but one that will no doubt make a big difference to creators.

This comes after LTK took a leaf out of TikTok’s book, with the app launching a short-form video feed, back in July.

“Video is critical for creators,” Kit Ulrich, General Manager of LTK’s Creator Shopping Platform, said in a press release at the time. “By transforming the LTK app into a video-first platform, LTK is helping our creators earn more by directly catering to shoppers’ preferences.”
